1. What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic care is a drug-free, surgery-free approach to healthcare. It allows a hands-on approach to treatment. I work with my patients to create an individualized treatment plan to not only relieve your pain or symptoms- but also to improve the function of your entire body to live the highest quality of life possible.
2. What are Chiropractic Adjustments?
Chiropractic adjustments are a safe, non-invasive treatment to improve joint motion and nervous system function. Adjustments can be provided through direct hand contact or with other adjustment tools.
Since pain is the last sign of joint dysfunction, pain relief is often the first symptom of joints regaining function. Routine adjustments are vital to promote proper healing, injury prevention, improve and maintain digestive mobility, relieve headaches, relieve numbness or tingling in arms and legs, and so much more!
3. Do You Take Insurance?
At this time, Compassionate Chiropractic does not take insurance. This allows me to focus all of my time and energy into giving you the highest quality of care possible. Insurance also significantly limits the care chiropractors are able to give to their patients. Sometimes, it is actually more expensive for you to use your insurance in a chiropractor's office! My model of care allows for YOU to be in charge of your care, not insurance companies.
4. What Should I Wear?
Wear anything you feel comfortable in! I recommend looser fitting or stretchy pants along with a top you feel comfortable crossing your arms in. I may occasionally ask that you take off your shoes if we decide to do an ankle adjustment on you.
5. How Often Do I Need to Go to a Chiropractor?
This is different for every patient. I create an individualized treatment plan that will help you reach your goals- whether it is getting out of pain, managing chronic conditions, getting cared for during pregnancy, keeping your baby's bowel movements and sleep regular, or just coming in for wellness and preventative care to improve and maintain nervous system function and health! I recommend coming in once per month for wellness and preventative care but I work with your schedule to meet your needs.
